There’s no doubt about it—gourmands, especially those featuring the Pistachio note, are trending. We’re here to share the recommendations for the best of them.

The distinctive taste and aroma of Pistachio are having their moment in the spotlight. People are rediscovering its flavor thanks to the rise of the now-famous Dubai chocolate, which has been flooding social media. Everyone seems to be going crazy over the milk chocolate bar featuring crispy Kataifi, Pistachio, and Tahini Paste. Though it was initially created in Dubai, alternatives have popped up almost everywhere in the world.

Meanwhile, in the perfume world, Pistachio’s green, nutty, and delicious scent is also gaining attention. From affordable options by Zara or H&M to independent niche creations, Pistachio has been making its way onto notes lists in recent years, often taking center stage in fragrances.

The Pistachio trend shows no signs of slowing down in 2025. If you’re on the hunt for the best perfumes featuring this nutty aroma, here are my personal picks from the Pistachio perfumes I’ve had the chance to try.

Experimental Perfume Club – Pistachio Haiku

This is a realistic green Pistachio scent, with a fresh touch of Pistachio Leaf and a slightly smoky Vetiver. The fragrance is woody, and while it’s sweetened with Benzoin, it never veers into an overly dessert-like territory. Originally, all the fragrances from this brand were designed to be mixed and matched with each other, but I find it perfect on its own too.

New Notes – Latte Pistachio

Who said Pistachio Gelato? That’s exactly what came to mind when I first smelled this perfume. It opens with fresh citruses, salty notes, and, of course, the star of the show—Pistachio. Trust me, it’s like smelling a fresh cup of Gelato on a hot day. Spicy accords and creamy Milk notes strengthen the Gelato impression even further. It’s a perfect choice for fans of traditional edible gourmands.

Naso di Raza – Cha-Ba-Da

If you want to smell like a dessert but milky accords aren’t your thing, Cha-Ba-Da offers another sweet Pistachio option. It’s loaded with Almond, Pistachio, Cake Accord, Vanilla, and Tonka Bean. However, it’s not as toothachingly sweet as it might seem at first glance. Tobacco, Patchouli, and Rose add an intriguing twist, making the scent complex and captivating. Created by perfumer Michelle Moellhausen, this composition tells a Sicilian story that quickly stole my heart.

De Gabor – Stardust Musk

If you’re intrigued by Pistachio note but aren’t a fan of gourmands, this might be the perfect choice for you. The fragrance opens with a beautiful Roasted Pistachio note, complemented by a touch of sweetness from Tonka Bean, but leans into a musky-powdery direction, with Tobacco, Iris, and a generous dose of Musks. The base is ambery with a slight hint of Oud—refined and never overwhelming. This is a classy, elegant choice.

Antonio Alessandria – Dies Auroræ

When it comes to sweet, nutty gourmands, I can’t skip this incredible creation. Caramelized, honeyed Hazelnut, Pistachio, and Almond combine with dark, churchy Incense to evoke the picture of religious festivities of Catania, Sicily—Antonio Alessandria’s inspiration for this scent. The result is a unique and unforgettable gourmand fragrance with a bold twist, unlike anything else you’ll find.

What is your favorite Pistachio fragrance? Which of these will you try first?
