Perfume is a pleasure, and pleasure is understood universally. This is why we call this magazine Plezuro, meaning 'pleasure' in Esperanto, a language created to be universally understood as well.

PlezuroMag is an independent magazine, a passion project, dedicated to spread love for perfumes.

Kristina Kybartaite-Damule

Since a very young age, I have had two passions: perfumes and writing. Collecting and discovering new fragrances, I wanted to share my scented stories with others, so I started my Instagram account. However, I always felt there was so much more I wanted to share, that couldn’t fit within IG’s limitations. With 10 years of experience working as a journalist and editor in my full-time job, I decided to apply these skills to create PlezuroMag.

I am a Canadian Bangladeshi perfume and lifestyle content creator based in Toronto. With a background in computer science, I have worked in the tech industry for over 12 years as a software and system analyst. Since the beginning, I have strived to view the world with a global perspective, seeking a blend of visual richness, protection, adventure, and an element of the unknown. This mindset led me to travel quite a bit and the continuation of the process helped the flow of smelling this brilliant world of perfumery which has been familiar to my existence since my teenage years, but the depth got dug up when I decided to take my world of familiarity to something more, something more unknown.

For me, perfumes are not just scents; they're magical potions that have the incredible power to ignite your senses, enlighten your mind, and forge beautiful connections between people. I have been fascinated with perfumers since I was a child, but my professional journey with perfumery started in 2020 when I posted my very first perfume review on the How_To_Scent_It Instagram blog. This blog was just a start and a year later I found myself in one of the best perfumery schools in the world: ISIPCA. There I studied perfume formulation, evaluation, composition, creating perfumes from brief, and much more.

I’m an obsessed explorer of the perfume world. Along this journey, I share my experiences in my perfume blog. Since my early teenage years, I believed that "you can never have too many fragrances." This passion has driven me to explore, discover, and collect scents over the years. My deeper dive into the world of perfumery began during one of my travels when I stumbled upon a perfume store. Inside, I found a wall of unfamiliar bottles, each labeled with unique and intriguing brands—it was niche perfumery. This discovery felt like venturing into uncharted territory, sparking my curiosity. Now, perfumery is an integral part of me.
