Alberto Morillas

Alberto Morillas is a Spanish Master perfumer renowned for shaping the modern fragrance landscape. Born in Seville in 1950 and raised in Switzerland, Morillas began his career in perfumery at Firmenich in 1970, despite not holding a chemistry degree. Inspired by an article on Jean-Paul Guerlain, he taught himself the art of fragrance creation and rose to become a Master Perfumer in 1998. Over the decades, he has crafted some of the most iconic scents in the world, including Calvin Klein CK One, Acqua di Giò for Women, Bvlgari Omnia, Marc Jacobs Daisy, and Must de Cartier. His influence spans top fashion houses, niche brands, and custom creations.

In addition to his work at Firmenich, Morillas is the founder of Mizensir, a Swiss-based fragrance house he launched in 1999, originally focused on candles and now offering a refined line of perfumes. He also leads Bespoke by Alberto Morillas, a custom perfumery service at Harrods in London. Known for his Mediterranean sensibility, love of natural raw materials like orange blossom and jasmine, and his intuitive, emotion-led approach to perfumery, Morillas blends artistic passion with technical mastery.
