A story spanning around two hundred years recounts the tale of the Florio family. Vincenzo Florio, once the wealthiest and most powerful man in all of Sicily, profoundly influenced life on the island - from the finest Marsala vine to the advent of tuna, conserved in oil, all was thanks to him. The saga of the Florio family was immortalized in the worldwide bestseller by Stefania Auci, "The Lions of Sicily," and the TV series of the same name.

In search of a secure haven for his family, Florio acquired a large building near Palermo. Once a tuna fishery complex, it was transformed into a luxurious and majestic seaside residence. The palace became the abode of Sicily's most noble and influential families, its splendor captivating all who visited. This grand building still stands, evoking tales of love, devotion, nobility, and wealth; it is known as Quattro Pizzi.

Quattro Pizzi by Xerjoff also narrates a tale of love, sensuality, and desire. The bottle design exudes purity and evokes the Belle Époque era, perfectly aligning with the fragrance's narrative and presentation.

Upon the initial spray, the perfume unfolds with spiciness. Pink pepper intermingles with davana and a hint of rum, though not overwhelmingly boozy - just enough to set the mood. Envision a refined soirée on a summer evening, in a blooming garden, with elegant ladies and gentlemen amidst classy background music.

As the fragrance evolves, the magic of tuberose begins to enchant. Sensual, alluring, and inviting – the tuberose maintains its sweet, creamy charm. Remaining luscious yet restrained, it never goes in the heavy animalic direction. It strikes a perfect balance.

As the festive evening progresses, the scent of tobacco mingles with the enchanting aroma of tuberose, evoking images of men leisurely enjoying their cigars. The tobacco, though dry, is not overpowering, teasing the nose playfully from time to time, enhancing the atmosphere of the scented narrative.

Quattro Pizzi exudes an airy, sweetly fresh quality that makes it effortlessly wearable. As I currently live in Sicily, I feel a deep connection to this fragrance. To me, this fragrance feels perfectly situated, arriving at just the right moment. Despite the numerous fragrances inspired by this beautiful island, many of them tend to be simple, and monotone, relying on notes like lemon, bergamot, or sometimes almond. In contrast, Xerjoff's approach is original, delivering fantastic results.

Nevertheless, I am aware that those who reside outside of Sicily will also appreciate this scent immensely. It presents an exquisite blend of sweet and spicy florals, ideal for warmer weather, sure to delight anyone who appreciates the charm of tuberose.
