Néroli Hasbaya by Atelier Materi: A Golden Stillness, Carved in Light

Some fragrances arrive like a sunbeam through an open window—unexpected, warm, and quietly transformative. Néroli Hasbaya is one of them.

Released in 2024, this creation from Atelier Materi is a radiant homage to the soul of orange blossom—its purity, its sensuality, and its sun-drenched elegance. Named after Hasbaya, a historic town in Lebanon known for its gardens and golden light, this scent captures the aura of a place where time slows and beauty is savored.
Atelier Materi, founded by Véronique Le Bihan, approaches perfumery like sculpture—where each raw material is studied, deconstructed, and elevated. Known for its architectural compositions and deep respect for natural ingredients, the brand crafts each fragrance as an ode to both form and feeling.
Néroli Hasbaya opens in sunlight. The neroli is luminous and crisp, instantly softened by creamy almond and the gentle saltiness of pistachio. It’s as if you’re tasting delicate pastries beneath blooming citrus trees. Then comes the heart: orange blossom and rose—petals unfurling in tandem, sacred and silken. This isn’t a floral that flutters. It’s grounded, graceful, and beautifully balanced.

As the scent settles, it hums with warmth. Sandalwood smooths the edges, Peru balsam adds a golden, resinous sheen, and musk lays down like the softness of white cotton sheets. Every layer feels intentional. Every note, like a shaft of light.
Néroli Hasbaya doesn’t try to be loud or complex. It rests in quiet luxury. A fragrance that feels both airy and rooted, fresh yet contemplative. The kind of scent that doesn’t follow trends—it creates a moment.
