With August comes the vacation season, when everything slows down, the sea becomes more inviting than ever, and your skin glows after endless days in the sun. Here are 10 perfume recommendations to scent your summer and create unforgettable holiday memories.

When it comes to summer perfumes, citrus and aquatic fragrances are usually the first to come to mind. And, to be honest, for the longest time I thought fragrances suited for this season had to be rather boring. But in reality, summer is the perfect time to wear vanilla, musk, tea—and even citrus can be fascinating when it's done right.
Usually, I like to share my summer perfume recommendations in the first days of June, as soon as the weather starts getting warmer. However, sometimes the perfumes that seem perfect in theory don't end up being the ones I actually wear. So this time, I decided to do things differently and share 10 perfumes that I not only recommend—these are the 10 fragrances I've worn the most so far this summer.
Puredistance Divanché. A perfect floral fragrance for the warm season. It opens with pear, apple, and pineapple. However, it's not the overly sweet or playful fruitiness you might expect. Instead, it feels incredibly green, crisp, and refreshing. The scent gradually develops into an elegant bouquet of white flowers, with Japanese gardenia taking center stage. It works like magic during unbearable heatwaves.

Diptyque Orphéon Eau de Toilette. As much as I adore the classic Orphéon Eau de Parfum, this new version is a stunning choice for summer. It's citrusy, but never boring: the juicy freshness of yuzu and ginger is decorated with magnolia and supported by plenty of musk in the base. An effortless everyday pick.
Xerjoff Lua. Freshness in this perfume comes from melon in the opening and the cool, powdery touch of iris. The composition is built around rose and lily of the valley, resting on a rich vanilla and musk base. I find this scent incredibly refined and perfect for a fancy dinner on the promenade.
Louis Vuitton Imagination. This perfume can easily be called a modern classic, and for good reason. The vibrant combination of tea and bergamot feels incredibly refreshing, while ambroxan gives it impressive presence, proving that fresh fragrances don't have to sacrifice longevity or projection. This is a room-filler and a confidence booster.
Atelier des Ors Blue Madeleine. What if I told you that a gourmand perfume can be perfectly worn in summer? While rich cake and chocolate fragrances are better suited to winter, this delicious madeleine-inspired scent feels just right in warm weather. The subtle sweetness is balanced by a touch of tea, making it elegant rather than heavy. It's not especially refreshing, but it's a wonderful choice when you crave something comforting and delicious without suffocating yourself—or everyone around you.
Thomas De Monaco Ultima Storia. This is the first citrus perfume I have ever truly fallen in love with. While it's undeniably fresh and juicy thanks to black lemon, there's so much more happening beneath the surface: almond, coffee, talcum powder, and even leather add surprising depth. It also completely defies the myth that citrus fragrances don't last—it lingers on the skin for hours. It has been my summer staple for several seasons in a row and remains one of my most worn perfumes ever.
Rosendo Mateu 10 – Musk, Musk, Musk. Musk is another note I especially appreciate in summer. Sensual yet clean, it adds effortless elegance to the skin. Rosendo Mateu's interpretation captures exactly that. While slightly sweet and creamy, it remains beautifully restrained—a perfect choice when you don't want anything overwhelming but still want to feel fresh, polished, and confident.
Mizensir Memory of the Sun. This has been my most worn perfume this summer. It's bright, airy, and undeniably summery. Juicy raspberry is paired with beautiful tuberose, a generous dose of ambroxan, and a warm ambery vanilla base. The result is luminous and effortless—sweet enough to feel cheerful, yet never heavy or overwhelming. It's a perfume that's incredibly easy to wear and keeps drawing me back, day after day.
Thomas De Monaco Luisant Haze. A neo-gourmand that feels surprisingly light. Sweet tuberose, cotton candy, and wild strawberry (fraise des bois) create a soft, dreamy composition that's playful without becoming overwhelming. It's one of those fragrances that instantly puts you in a good mood and makes you forget your worries—a true scent of carefree summer days.
Floraïku Sand and Skin. A fragrance I especially love wearing at the beach. Creamy sandalwood blends with soft vanilla to create an addictive skin scent that's both comforting and sophisticated. Smooth and quietly sensual, it's the kind of perfume that melts into sun-kissed skin and feels effortlessly luxurious.
