Les Bains Guerbois
Founded in 1885, Les Bains Guerbois began as Paris’s first luxurious spa, a cultural hub frequented by the likes of Manet, Zola, and Proust. In 1978, it transformed into the iconic nightclub Les Bains Douches, attracting global celebrities such as David Bowie, Andy Warhol, and Naomi Campbell, with interiors by a young Philippe Starck. Revived in 2015 by Jean-Pierre Marois, the space became a five-star hotel, restaurant, bar, nightclub, and concept store, continuing its legacy as a vibrant center of art and creativity.
In 2016, Marois reimagined the brand’s storied past through scent, launching the first Cologne and perfumed candle under Les Bains Guerbois, followed by a collection of eaux de parfum starting in 2017. Each fragrance is inspired by a specific year and moment in the brand’s 130-year history. The house boasts perfumes created in collaboration with renowned perfumers such as Dominique Ropion, Bertrand Duchaufour, Jérôme Epinette, and others, blending heritage and modernity in olfactive form.
Les Bains Guerbois is more than a maison—it is a living archive of Parisian elegance, with walls that hold first-hand stories dating back to 1885. Its walls are steeped in the spirit, conversations, and dances of Parisian aristocracy, artistic vanguard and celebrities.
