Jacques Fath Parfums celebrates the launch of Musc Couture, the latest addition to the brand’s Fath’s Essentials collection. The release coincides with the inauguration of the Maison’s flagship boutique in Paris.

“Musc Couture translates Fath’s haute couture legacy into a clean, powdery, musk scent,” the official press release reads.
Conceived as an olfactory reflection of Jacques Fath’s couture artistry, Musc Couture blends modernity with nostalgia. The fragrance is clean, powdery, and sensual, evoking the fluidity of draped gowns and the refinement of Fath’s iconic silhouettes. At its heart, the Musk Accord envelops the wearer like fine fabric against the skin, delicate yet unmistakably intimate.
“The idea behind Musc Couture was to reinterpret fabric through perfume,” explains IFF Master Perfumer Jean-Christophe Hérault, marking his fourth collaboration with Jacques Fath. “Musc Couture is built on a duality of a Musk Accord paired with a Clean Linen Scent, creating the backbone of the perfume. There are also evocative, joyful touches with a Dried Red Banana Accord, which has a particular characteristic, with its fruity, colored, sparkling, and joyful notes, an echo of Jacques Fath’s dynamic spirit.”
The composition opens with a playful gourmand twist — an accord of Dried Red Bananas and Cherry, liqueur-like and audacious, bringing modernity and joyful energy to the scent. The heart is balanced by the radiant Clean Linen Accord, a tribute to couture textiles, while the base is enriched with Iris Concrete LMR, CO2 Vanilla Bean, and Vetiver Wood, adding depth, warmth, and longevity.
